Calendula Tea | God’s Medicine Cabinet with Ebodyz | Episode 2
One of the things I love most about calendula tea is its flavor. It’s light, floral, slightly earthy, and has a gentle bitterness that reminds you you’re drinking a real herb. If you’re new to herbal teas, adding fresh lemon and a little honey creates a smooth, refreshing cup that’s easy to enjoy.
🍵 How to Make Calendula Tea
Ingredients
1 tablespoon dried calendula flowers
8 ounces hot (not boiling) water
Honey (optional)
Fresh lemon (optional)
Directions
Place the dried calendula flowers into a tea infuser or directly into your cup.
Pour hot—not boiling—water over the flowers.
Cover and let steep for 5–10 minutes.
Strain if needed.
Add honey and lemon to taste, then enjoy.
Why Do People Drink Calendula Tea?
Calendula has been used in traditional herbal practices for generations. People commonly enjoy it because it’s been traditionally used to:
🌼 Support healthy digestion
🌼 Support the body’s natural response to inflammation
🌼 Support healthy-looking skin
🌼 Provide a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea option that can be enjoyed any time of day
🌼 Support menstrual comfort and ease occasional cramps
One of the things I appreciate most about calendula is that something so simple can be enjoyed in so many ways. Whether you’re sipping it as a tea or learning about its traditional uses, it’s a reminder that there’s so much to discover in the plants God has provided.
🌼 Coming Tomorrow…
Tomorrow we’re not just making another cup of tea—we’re exploring what happens when Calendula meets Chamomile and Hibiscus.
Can one flower create completely different tea experiences depending on what you pair it with?
We’ll find out together in Episode 3 of God’s Medicine Cabinet with Ebodyz, where we continue learning one plant at a time. 🌿
