🌼 Calendula Infused Oil
| Episode 4
Welcome back to God’s Medicine Cabinet with Ebodyz, where we learn one plant at a time! 🌿
Today we’re taking our Herb of the Sun in a completely different direction—we’re making calendula-infused oil.
I used three simple ingredients:
🌼 Dried Calendula Flowers💛 100% Sweet Almond Oil✨ 100% Jojoba Oil
Calendula has a long history in traditional herbal skincare and is commonly used to help soothe and comfort dry or irritated skin. It contains naturally occurring plant compounds such as flavonoids and triterpenoids that contribute to its skin-supporting properties.
Sweet almond oil adds moisture and helps soften the skin, while jojoba oil helps support the skin’s moisture barrier.
🫙 How I Made It
🌼 Fill a clean, dry jar halfway with dried calendula.
💛 Add sweet almond oil and jojoba oil.
🌿 Make sure all of the flowers are completely covered.
🔒 Seal and label the jar.
🌑 Store somewhere cool and dark for 4–6 weeks, gently shaking it every few days.
And now… we wait. 👀
Because this isn’t the end of our Calendula journey. It’s actually where we get to see what we can create with what we’ve learned.
Tomorrow, we’re getting creative with the Herb of the Sun. 🌼
