1 min read

We made it to Day 5! 🌼

After spending the week learning about Calendula—the Herb of the Sun—I wanted to end our first plant journey by actually creating something with it.

Today we’re making a DIY botanical bath tea.

🌿 What’s In My Blend?

🌼 Calendula — traditionally valued for its soothing properties and commonly used in herbal skincare.

🌸 Chamomile — traditionally used for relaxation and gentle skin care.

🌺 Hibiscus — adds beautiful color and contains naturally occurring plant compounds with antioxidant properties.

šŸ’™ Blue Lotus — adds a botanical, spa-like element to the experience.

🄣 Rolled Oats — oats can help soothe dry, itchy skin and support the skin’s moisture barrier.

šŸ’œ Lavender Powder — adds a relaxing floral aroma.

šŸ§‚ Epsom Salt — commonly used in baths to help relax tired muscles.

🩷 Pink Himalayan Salt — adds minerals and creates a luxurious bath experience.

šŸ› How To Use It

Scoop about ¼–½ cupĀ of the blend into a large tea bag, muslin bag, or cheesecloth.

Place it into a warm bath and allow it to steep.

Gently squeeze the bag occasionally to help release the herbal infusion.

Then… soak, relax, and enjoy.Ā šŸŒæšŸ›

And just like that, we’ve completed our very first week of God’s Medicine Cabinet with Ebodyz!

One plant. Five days. So many ways to explore it.

🌼 Now it’s your turn:Ā What herb should we learn about next?

God’s Medicine Cabinet with Ebodyz — where we learn one plant at a time. 🌿
